Bungie has announced that Halo Reach will launch worldwide on September 14, except in Japan, where it will debut a day later.
The developer also said that more than 2.7 million people logged 16 million hours on the beta for the upcoming shooter, which should allay some of the fears the studio has had about "Halo fatigue".

Why walk when you can ride a Hoverboard? That's right, the Ride every kid has wanted since 1989, debuts today in the family-friendly virtual world of Free Realms! Players will look cool cruising around Free Realms at 150 percent of their character's normal walking speed and showing off with board trick animations. The Precursor Tech Hoverboard is currently available in a brown and blue version and a brown and orange version, each for 550 Station Cash in the Marketplace.

It's no surprise that this week's Friday Update includes the official reveal of Hoth, as many of you have already seen the planet as it made its debut over at Videogamer.com earlier this week. However, Bioware did release some additional media for the planet including a short clip featuring in-game footage.
In addition to the official Hoth reveal, we're also treated to the third issue of the new Blood of the Empire webcomic, which, surprisingly, reveals to us the identify of the Sith Emperor.

The official Final Fantasy XIV website has been updated with a batch of new screenshots and details featuring a number of key Eorzea locations within the city-state of Limsa Lominsa including Fisherman's Bottom, Bismarck, the Coral Tower, and more.
