After studying the migration of Many, Djaul, and Rushu, we have decided that the current version of DOFUS 2.0 has been improved enough to welcome the rest of our playerbase. We are ready to announce the complete and final migration calendar!
Additionally, a 2.0 beta test for the Heroic Server will open next Tuesday, April 20th, 2010, to ensure that the specialized gameplay of this server will work correctly on DOFUS 2.0. Oto Mustam will be the final server migrated to DOFUS 2.0, to give us the maximum amount of lead time to test its function.
Without further ado, here is the date for the migration of all International and UK servers!

Oto Mustam’s Challenge is coming to a close today!
Many are the adventurers who succeeded in the mission given to them by the Brakmarian General, and all of them now wear the shield that Oto awarded for the occasion. It is said that these warriors now proudly go by the name “Wa Wabbit Slayer”.
Of these hordes of heroes, 11 stand out as punishers of the Wa Wabbits insolence… But it is Genious who has excelled beyond all expectations in the service of the Dark Lord by putting the Wa to shame no less than 21 times in it’s own castle!
For this incomparable service, Oto Mustam has promised to present Genious with each and every characteristic scroll he has in his possession.

DOFUS version 1.27 is arriving on 7 April 2009!
We’ll be introducing each of the additions and improvements to come as the day draws nearer. To get the ball rolling, here’s an overview of the update.
- Eagerly awaited Special Spells for all classes!
- Modifications to the way Health Points, Initiative and Tackling are managed
- New Quests and Alignment Rewards
- Brand new Challenges
- Rebalancing of classes
- Re-evaluation of Dopples in class temples
- Re-evaluation of PvP quests
Each of these additions will be dealt with in a news feature, while the Class spells, the keystone of this update, will be introduced two-by-two along with each instalment!
Today we’ll be taking a look at ‘Jinx’ and ‘Dispersing Arrow’, the special Sram and Cra spells!
When a Sram casts Jinx on an enemy (or an ally), all attacks and spells cast by the target will be reduced to their lowest level of effect for the duration of the spell. This spell will renew interest in Srams when building groups, due to their newfound ability for protection – if cast at the right moment, it can temporarily reduce damage taken from the most powerful of enemies. What’s more, since the values of spells cast while Jinx is active will be at their lowest possible minimal level, it makes it possible to predict damage taken and to form a healing and defensive strategy.
Dispersing Arrow allows Cras to repel everything for three cells around the target cell in all 4 directions, moving a maximum of three targets in a row. Only background elements can block the effects of Dispersing Arrow and Cras cannot use the arrow on themselves. Dispersing Arrow will increase interest in Cras for two reasons: their increased usefulness in groups and their effectiveness from a distance. In group, this spell allows Cras to help allies escape from enemy tackle zones and also to reposition the participants, both allies and enemies, during combat. Finally, the spell allows Cras to maintain their enemies at a distance and to make full use of their large battery of very long-range spells.

As the bamboo milk pours in bars across Amakna, rumors spread about Saint Potrick, the mystical man who tried to banish all wriggling spiders from the continent last year.
Will he try again this year? Will the continent finally be free of every creepy, crawly arachnee?
No one seems to have heard from him in a long time, could it have something to do with his assistants, the gold-hungry Leprechauns? Some reports say that they are up to their old tricks again, but from the way they're acting, it's not clear if they're working on behalf of Saint Potrick or if they're out to stir up trouble for their own amusement. Adventurers, help Oisín, the great hero of the Oirish Fianna, sort out these little green monsters, but beware of their curse!
