Seropian leaves Disney as losses widen

February 8th, 2012
Disney has confirmed that Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian has left the company's employ on the day it announced that losses in its Interactive division more than doubled in the final three months of 2011. Seropian joined Disney in 2009, rising to SVP and general manager of core games after Disney restructured in January 2011. The company confirmed his departure to Gamasutra, naming Bill Roper, formerly of Blizzard and Cryptic Studios, as his replacement. Roper was appointed as SVP of the Marvel franchise last July.
