Star Wars: The Old Republic will feature many explorable planets. Devs have revealed the latest, Nar Shaddaa, also known as the Smuggler's Moon. Nar Shaddaa is a tough place where the black market rules and everything comes at a premium.

Even the venerated Wall Street Journal is sitting up to take notice of of the fact that some of the West's biggest gaming companies are taking games into the realm of 'free to play'. In an article in the newspaper's 'Tech' section, writer Nick Wingfield talks about both Sony Online Entertainment and Time-Warner shifting popular titles Everquest and Lord of the Rings Online to a new monetary paradigm.
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning: Stability Test and Dev Chat

Warhammer Online players will want to check into the public test server tonight at 8 p.m. EST for a stability test. Devs want to get as many players as possible online and have a couple of incentives to get them there: 1) Two devs will be held captive in the opposing camp's keep. Players are to rescue the dev and escort him back to his keep before the other team. And 2) There will be a Ventrilo dev chat beginning at 4 p.m. EST.
Star Trek Online: Leeta the Dabo Girl Joins Cast

Star Trek Online devs have announced that Chase Masterson, the actress who portrayed Leeta the Dabo girl, has joined the voice cast for the game. Masterson joins Star Trek TV vets Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto in STO.
Nexon America Q2 Sales Up 26%

Nexon America has reported second quarter revenues up 26 per cent year-over-year.
The free-to-play specialist behind MapleStory told VentureBeat that June sales alone were up 36 per cent from a year earlier, although it doesn’t disclose actual financial figures.

Sega Games Business Slashes Q1 Losses

Sega parent Sega Sammy posted a profit and increased sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2011, but continued losses for its games division means the company will increase its focus on content geared towards social networking services and smartphones.
