CryEngine 3 Steps Up With Version 3.1

Crytek's CryEngine has taken the step up to version 3.1, adding new features and improving performance.
The new features include Blend Shader (reducing the need for large texture sets) and Visual Budget (helping with resource management).
Meanwhile a new physics engine has been added as well as Light Propagation Volumes to help with real-time light effects. Procedural deformation, irradiance volumes and physics drive animation features have also been added.
