PSP Leads Weekly Japanese Hardware Sales
January 15th, 2010

Sony’s PSP topped the Japanese hardware sales chart during the week ended January 10.
The system was the only platform to record a weekly rise as total unit sales fell from 606,000 to 401,000.
Wii sales more than halved, but the console managed to remain ahead of PS3, which saw a 50,000 drop in unit sales.
DSi sales edged those of the portable’s big brother, DSi LL, while DS Lite outsold Xbox 360 and PS2 combined.
