Wii Sales Up 85 Per Cent Following Price Cut

Cammie Dunaway, executive VP of sales and marketing for Nintendo of America, believes that Wii is in a very good position going into the holidays.
Nintendo sold over 1.5 million hardware units (which includes Wii, DS and DSi systems) in the U.S. during Thanksgiving week. Of that figure 550,000 consoles are said to have been Wii units following the $50 price cut.
