The first power in the upcoming Celestial power set to be released this October with Champions Online's first major game update, Blood Moon, has been revealed today on the game's official website. The first power is, naturally, the set's energy builder and is called "Radiance". Radiance will have some interesting quirks when compared to other energy builders, namely that it will damage enemies as normal, but will also heal allies if you target an ally with it.

The shop will be located on Hendon Myre Lane, and will allow for testers to purchase a variety of items using Nexon Cash, including, health and stat boosting potions, safe upgrades, life tokes which resurrect you should you fall in battle, and Avatar items.

Yesterday, we reported on a 20% cut to staff at Funcom that also came with the comment that Funcom's upcoming horror themed MMOG, The Secret World, would indeed be delayed several months due to these changes. The report left many of us wondering if these changes would also have an affect on the release of Age of Conan's Rise of the Godslayer expansion, and today, a Funcom spokesperson speaking to Jamie Davey of Strategy Informer reassures us that the recent cuts will have "little to no effect".
