ESA Sues CTA Over Game Ads Rule
July 23rd, 2009

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has filed suit against the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), saying that a rule barring ads for M-rated games on its buses and trains violates free speech rights.
In January of this year, the CTA enacted Ordinance 008-147, prohibiting any advertisement that markets or identifies a video or computer game rated Mature 17+ or Adults Only 18+.
