Mobile games simply don’t get the attention that they used to. In years past, they were a hot property. At the end of 2005, JAMDAT Mobile sold to Electronic Arts for $680 million. A year later, Glu Mobile was listed on a public stock exchange.
During a session of the Casual Connect conference in Seattle, industry observer Matthew Bellows said it was “The Not iPhone Panel, or The Other One Billion Handhelds.”
