In the wake of its recent bankruptcy filing, Chicago-based Midway Games has requested court approval for a multi-million dollar incentive plan that would grant bonuses to key employees based on certain milestones, including the sale of the Mortal Kombat franchise.
With Mortal Kombat on the selling block, it means that Midway may unload the company's most successful franchise, along with the chance to leverage the series in the future.
